Keeping & Disclosing the Strata Corporation’s Electronic Records Under Strata Property Act
Professional Association of Managing Agents (PAMA) has organized an important strata educational seminar for strata managers on September 16, 2015. This seminar will discuss the requirement of keeping and disclosing the strata corporation's electronic records under the Strata Property Act.
The parts of the SPA that will be specifically discussed:
Section 35. Contractual obligations of the strata manager in keeping the electronic records and the obligations to provide the electronic records to the strata within 4 weeks of the end of the strata management contract
Section 37. Potential importance of those electronic records in the context of litigation and disclosure requirements under the various rules of courts and tribunals
The seminar attendees will learn how to meet the requirements of the legislation and what might a system look like to automate the process.
